Biography

Administration and Management: My administrative skills have been developed in both public and private institutions, in the United States, several European countries, and Nigeria. I have experience of budget management, personnel decision-making, curriculum development, and many other associated aspects of administration within an academic setting. Through my work in international education, including as Director of NAU’s Center for International Education, I have considerable cross-cultural experience of working with alternative forms of management and administration. My management style is consensual and transparent, and I am a strong supporter of faculty governance. I have worked my whole career with international and minority students and faculty, and support diversity initiatives in curriculum and in the workplace.
