Biography

Hult Ashridge Executive Education

Steve teaches finance and accounting across customised, open, qualification and apprenticeship programs. He is also closely involved with the development and delivery of the Stretch and Focus business simulations.

Steve is currently the program director for the open Finance for Non-Financial Managers program and customised clients for whom he has recently delivered finance sessions include BAM: Croda: Gestamp: Mediclinic: SSE and Sysmex. He was previously Director of the Ashridge EMBA along with being the module leader for the finance and accounting elements of the program.

Steve joined Ashridge from PowerGen [now e.on] where he was CFO for one of the company's three operating divisions. Prior to that he was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers [PwC] working with both private and public sector clients. Before moving into consultancy Steve was the Financial Controller for the airline bmi and held finance roles in the public sector.

Steve has a BA in Economics & Accounting from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne together with MBA and PhD degrees from Loughborough University. He is also a qualified accountant holding professional accounting qualifications with both UK and international accounting bodies.
