BI Norwegian Business School
Sverre Knutsen is professor in economic - and business history, and Head of Department of Innovation and Economic Organisation.
Research areas
Professor Knutsen has published extensively in the field of financial history, financial stability and crises, financial innovations and financing of innovations and entrepreneurial ventures. Knutsen is also doing research in the field of transport infrastructurs. Besides, Knutsen's research interests are also directed towards institutional theory and the methodology of economic history.
Teaching areas
Knutsen teaches on all levels, giving courses in general economic history, financial history, and the financing of entrepreneurial ventures.
