Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
As an experienced architect with close to 30 years of experience, Ar. Tan Shao Yen strongly believes in integrating expertise, harnessing teamwork, and leveraging design to provide innovative and holistic solutions.
Shao Yen leads CPG Corporation in fostering innovative and collaborative endeavours, and brings valuable experience in delivering international projects across a diverse range of typologies in both the public and private sectors. Shao Yen was recognised by BCA-SGBC as Green Architect of the Year in 2014. Some of his work and opinions were published in “20 under 45: The Next Generation” by Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).
As Group Chief Innovation Officer of CPG Corporation, Shao Yen seeks innovative value propositions that address the need for urban solutions in Asia and beyond. Through harnessing diverse capabilities across the CPG group of companies ranging from professional services, project management to facilities management, he fosters strategic partnership networks internationally to develop market and client-centric bespoke CPG-led integrated solutions, such as Smart Estates, Transit-Oriented Development, Biophilic Built Environment, Health & Wellness, Knowledge Cluster, and Security & Resilience.
