UW Professional & Continuing Education
Tara McCauley works as the director of education and programs at the Jefferson County Historical Society (JCHS), where she manages and sets the strategic direction for the museum’s education department, which provides high-quality, community-based programming for youth and adults.
Prior to joining JCHS, she served as the education director at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, the education and youth programs manager at the Museum of History & Industry and as the education curator at the White River Valley Museum. McCauley holds a B.A. in art history/museum studies from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Education in Museum Education from the University of British Columbia.
