Biography
Taylor Hathorn serves as the director of alumni relations for Young America’s Foundation and engages alumni through YAF events and initiatives within the Conservative Movement.
Taylor spent the last five years working in donor relations and communications in both higher education and veterans initiatives. She comes to YAF most recently from the White House Historical Association, where she served as the director of donor relations for the leading resource on White House art and history.
Taylor’s interest in policy and public service ignited in high school when she traveled from the United Arab Emirates to Washington, D.C., to attend two conferences focused on global initiatives. Taylor parlayed that passion into working on successful gubernatorial and United States Senate races during her undergraduate career.
Taylor was first introduced to Young America’s Foundation when she helped to lay the groundwork for the establishment of the YAF chapter at the University of Tennessee and attended CPAC in 2011.
Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in communication as well as her master’s degree in public policy and administration from the University of Tennessee, where she also taught two undergraduate courses on business ethics.
