Biography
Terri Holbrook, a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado, received her BBA in Accounting from Baylor University in 1983 and her Masters in Taxation from University of Texas at Arlington, in 1991. Ms. Holbrook practiced public accounting for 16 years and retired as a tax partner from BDO Seidman in 2000. Ms. Holbrook then joined Thomas Weisel Partners Investment Bank as a Director, where she worked for 9 years before she began teaching accounting and taxation, first at University of Delaware and now in the MPA program in the McCombs School. Her teaching interests include taxation, with expertise in partnerships and flow-through entities. Ms. Holbrook is an avid runner, enjoys golf, gourmet cooking and plays the piano. She lives with her husband in downtown Austin.
