New York University Abu Dhabi

Tetyana (Tanya) is an economist working on labor, immigration, and gender economics. She is especially interested in understanding the outcomes and behaviors of immigrants in the destination labor market. Tanya is a principal investigator for a project that studies the causes of gender career diversion, with a particular focus on the role of firms’ gender composition.

Tanya earned her PhD in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2015. Since then, she has worked in the economics departments of the London School of Economics, University College London, and, most recently, Universitat Pompeu Fabra as a Marie Curie Fellow. She is also a research fellow at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (UCL).
