Harvard Graduate School of Design

Teddy is an architectural and urban designer whose professional and academic work engages with issues of urban transformation at a regional and urban scale and data-driven spatial analysis. Teddy is an urban designer at WSP and the co-founder of Space ODT, an architecture and urban design firm based in NYC. At WSP Teddy works on urban master plans at multiple scales and national TOD projects.

Space ODT gained experience working with, and designing for, specific communities and businesses. Their recently completed project, Howl! Arts/Howl! Archive (HA/HA) gallery, is a 7,000 square foot headquarters for the art organization in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and is the companion space to Howl’s first gallery, designed by the firm in 2015.

Prior to joining WSP and Co-founding Space ODT, Teddy has designed both independently and at various practices in New York and Tel Aviv focusing on performing arts, institutional, and residential projects. He was a teaching fellow at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, taught design studios at Pratt Institute and The Cooper Union in New York, and received several awards for his work including the RSA-USA design awards, The Cooper Mack fellowship, and The Harvard Graduate School of Design Dean's Merit Award. His work has been exhibited at, among other venues, the Center for Architecture in NYC and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York. He Studied architecture at Tel Aviv University and graduated with honors from the Masters in Architecture and Urban Design program at Harvard University and from The Cooper Union School of Architecture.
