IE Business School

Doctor Amslem is specialized in researching and teaching Management Control and social entrepreneurship. Specifically, his research focuses on the use of management control in social enterprises and its effects on social workers motivation and behavior. He is trained in qualitative methodology and his research is published and under review in international journals such as Research of the Sociology in Organizations. He defended his PhD thesis at Sorbonne University (France) and did a Post-doc in accounting at Université Laval. He was also a Faculty Member at the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, Ontario. Doctor Amslem also taught Management control at ESCP Europe and Business Performance Management at HEC Paris.
