Expertise
Tom Buchner joined the SCO department as fulltime Senior Lecturer in 2008, following several years as a member of the parttime faculty. Buchner holds BA, MBA, and PhD degrees from the University of Minnesota. He teaches a variety of operations management courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He also is a certified management consultant with more than 25 years of experience working with service and manufacturing organizations in the pursuit of quality and process improvement. In addition to consulting, Buchner was an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Thomas from 1989 2008. He is an experienced Six Sigma Black Belt and Champion instructor.
