Biography

Prof. Dr. Thomas Kaiser has been working in the risk management profession for more than 20 years. His career includes various senior roles with leading German banks, most of which were focused on operational risk management. Thomas is a director in the financial risk management practice at KPMG, and is responsible for operational and reputational risk management consulting projects globally. He is also an honorary professor at Goethe University in Frankfurt, teaching risk management at graduate and executive level in Germany and abroad. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Operational Risk and author of four books and numerous articles on risk management topics.
