As director of the New England Centenarian Study, Dr. Perl’s research aims to decipher the genetic and environmental factors that contribute to longevity. Dr. Perls is among the international leaders in the field of human exceptional longevity. He has been responsible for numerous novel and pivotal findings in the field and is an expert in  in epidemiology, the genetics of aging and exceptional longevity.
