Tim Duff practiced law for over 27 years, beginning as an appellate clerk, becoming a partner in a large law firm, and then moving on to becoming a partner in a boutique land-use and business-litigation firm. Professor Duff began teaching more than ten years ago, and both practiced law and taught until Spring 2017, when he left private practice to focus exclusively on teaching. He has taught at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, and Suffolk University Law School in Boston. His teaching experience includes legal writing, appellate practice, experiential education, and legal practice skills.
