Tom Nelms

Tom has over 40 years of experience in technology and media/content companies ranging from hardware and software to network and data communications, SaaS Digital Experience platforms and most recently Content, Data and Digital Media solutions. He has held a variety of senior management and leadership positions including building and leading Strategic Partnership, Sales, Business Development, Corporate Development and Product Management teams.

Most recently he served as EVP, Global Head of Partnerships at S4 Capital/Media.Monks, where he and his team developed, managed and scaled all Content, Data and Media partnerships. Tom’s role at Media.Monks was focused on helping Partners and Brands envision and execute creative and digital experiences that extend across the customer decision journey. Whether through large-scale digital transformation efforts or by simply connecting existing creative touchpoints.

Prior to Media.Monks, Tom spent nine years at Adobe in Corporate Development, where he was responsible for key strategic initiatives and corporate partnerships. While there, Tom led the company’s participation in three Olympic Games (London/Sochi/Rio) through a strategic partnership with Comcast/NBC Universal, providing an end-to-end video platform for content delivery and cross-device monetization. In addition, Tom led an incubator team using design-led thinking methodology to research and rapidly prototype a potential new line of business for Adobe.

Having recently retired from ``Corporate life”, Tom is now a full time Executive Coach and Leadership facilitator focused on ‘leading teams through change’ and ‘navigating the gray’. He has been a certified U.C. Berkeley Executive Coach since 2015 and also a member of Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute’s coaching faculty since 2017.

With an extensive background across a broad spectrum of senior leadership and management positions, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Executive Coaching and leadership/team facilitation. He is passionate about coaching and facilitating others in their authentic leadership and professional journeys.
