Trisha Alexy is Director of Curriculum for the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry programs and assumes responsibility for providing the full scope of learning experiences for both the flagship program and also the International version that is titled Global Village on the Move. Among her activities, she schedules and oversees the delivery of more than 25 courses, 60 executives, 15 business projects, 4 panel sessions, trips to local businesses and learning experiences in New York City and Washington, DC.
Previously, Trish served as the Director of the Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship, an Iacocca Institute program hosted by Lehigh University to educate U.S. high school and International high school students (ages 15-18) to the topics of global entrepreneurship, effective business practices, leadership and cultural understanding.
As part of her Program Administrator responsibilities within the Iacocca Institute, she designed, planned and coordinated the Leadership Breakfast Series, a networking speaker series that brings the most influential of Lehigh Valleys corporate and government leaders together to discuss leadership topics. She also served as the Site Director for the Governor’s Institute for Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship, a one week program that educates over 100 PA teachers. Since 2002, Trish has worked within the Iacocca Institute and has also served as the Assistant Director of PGSGE, Manager of the Career Awareness Program for diverse high school students, administrator of Professional Education seminars, Global Village and PSGE recruiter, and Global Village guide.
Before her employment with Lehigh University, Trish worked as a Production Control Planner for SGS-Thompson Microelectronics and as a Supervisor for Ametek Aerospace where she developed and implemented systematic planning and scheduling procedures for a module product line and RF engineering line and their materials.
Trish has her Masters Degree in Education from Lehigh University and graduated Kappa Tau Alpha from the University of Hawaii with degrees in Journalism and Political Science. While living In Hawaii, she worked as the Assistant Director of Support Services for Hawaiian Airlines and as an editor of the UHCC Computing Center Newsletter. Active in numerous community and church related activities, she is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the American Society of Training and Development. She lives in Bethlehem with her husband of 30 years, Jim, and two children Luke, 16, and Taylor, 20.
