Tyler Comann

Tyler Comann, Managing Director, brings three decades of experience in investment banking, private equity and operating management to clients in a range of consumer, business service, and technology, media and telecom industries.

Before joining Capstone Partners, Tyler was a Managing Director at Viant Capital for six years and a Managing Partner at Comann & Montague for thirteen years. At both these boutique investment banks, he specialized in mergers and acquisitions for business service clients. During his investment banking career, he has completed over 90 engagements with a total transaction value of $1.5 billion.

Prior to founding Comann & Montague, Tyler spent two years as CEO of M&B Miniblinds, a $70 million manufacturer of custom window coverings. Before that, he was a Partner with Comann, Howard & Flamen, a private equity firm, for six years. For nearly twenty years, Tyler has taught service management courses as a lecturer at Stanford University, University of California’s Haas School of Business and H.E.C. (Paris, France). He holds two U.S. patents related to the wine industry.
