Biography
Ulf is both an experienced practitioner in investment banking and a lecturing and researching behavioural economist. As a partner of Aalto Capital Ulf is focusing on equity and debt market transactions and is an investment banking and strategy advisor to Scandinavian and UK based companies. In addition to that, he is an adjunct professor at Stockholm Business School in behavioural economics, and a research associate and DBA candidate at Henley Business School, focusing on strategic financial decisions in the boardroom, an interconnecting area of finance with psychology, anthropology, and philosophy. Ulf is the author of a book on psychology in equity markets, has co-authored a book about modern capitalism and published more than 500 articles on corporate governance and capital markets. Prior to his doctoral studies, Ulf received an MBA degree from University of San Diego Graduate School of Business and practiced investment banking (SG Warburg) and management consulting in London, New York, Hong Kong and Moscow.
