    Biography

    Umair Shafi Choksy is a Lecturer in International Business and Management at the University of Manchester, Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS). He received his PhD from AMBS in 2015 and holds a master’s degree from the University of Manchester. His research interests are theoretical and practical issues around power relations and upgrading in value chains, resilience in conflict zones and adverse institutional context, comparative institutional analysis, human rights, and socio-spatial practices and capability development.
