Biography

Valentinas Rudys joined WSU faculty in 2022 and is an assistant professor of Economics in the Goddard School of Business & Economics.

Valentinas holds a double BBA degree in economics and finance from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, and earned his MA and PhD in economics from Fordham University. Currently, Valentinas teaches courses in macroeconomics and statistics. In his research, Valentinas studies Social Security reform effects on the US economy through the labor markets, older worker labor market outcomes, and active labor market policies. In addition, he is interested in portfolio allocation over the lifecycle and other financial investment issues.
