Biography

Vicki M. Scherwin, PhD is a Leadership Consultant and Educator. Vicki’s specialty is leadership development and manager-subordinate interactions. Her core services include: executive coaching, leadership training, and leadership curriculum development.

She earned her PhD in Management, with an emphasis in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Business, where her research focused on leadership effectiveness, the impact of manager-subordinate relationships on performance, organizational politics, and managerial psychology.

Prior to her PhD, Vicki worked in nonprofit management. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Management/Human Resource Management at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).

Her goal is to provide transformational experiences to her clients and students through experiential learning. She uses a wide range of experiential activities designed to allow clients to engage leadership content in an individualized way. Clients include: Traffic Management Inc., Dermalogica, National Mental Association of Greater Los Angeles, HipHire, and, Mr. C’s Towing, and Kaiser Permanente.
