Biography

Virginie Monvoisin has been an Associate Professor at the Grenoble Ecole de Management in Grenoble since 2011. Her Ph.D. dissertation and research interests are in the areas of monetary economics, macroeconomics and power. She is currently working on the banking system, and more specifically, on the role and position of the banker. Among her publications are: “What''s the Use of Banks, especially after the Crisis?” (Review of Keynesian Economics, 2013), “Le métier du banquier et le risque : La dénaturation des fonctions de financement du système bancaire” (Cahiers d''économie Politique, 2012), “Banque et financement coopératif : La question du financement des sociétés de personnes” (in L''entreprise coopérative: le management de demain ?, 2013).
