Kenan-Flagler Business School

William Spransy is Chief Financial Officer of Eller Capital Partners. Mr. Spransy is responsible for all accounting and finance functions of the company, and he is particularly involved in the debt and equity capitalization of the firm's investment portfolio, as well as the formation, capitalization and ongoing management of the firm's investment funds.

Prior to joining Eller Capital Partners, Mr. Spransy was Vice President of Finance of a national land development firm, Finance Manager of a major regional development firm specializing in historic redevelopment properties, and was Director of Asset Management and Acquisitions for Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO) (NYSE: AIV), the largest owner of apartments in the United States at the time of his departure.

Mr. Spransy serves as an Adjunct Professor or Real Estate for the Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies at the Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also serves on the investment committee for the Kenan-Flagler Business School Foundation's real estate investment funds and has served as the co-chair of programming for the Triangle Chapter of the Urban Land Institute's Young Leader's Group.

Mr. Spransy earned a Masters Degree in business administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from American University in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the firm's investment committee, its executive leadership committee and the advisory board of the firm's private equity funds.
