Biography
Dr. Winnie Lee is a Radiologist, Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging at Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH). Born and raised in Toronto, she completed her Honours Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees, before focusing her education in medicine, training at the University of Toronto in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Lee has called Cambridge her home since 2008 when she moved here to start her career at the hospital.
In January 2020, Dr. Lee assumed the role as CMH's Interim Chief of Staff just as COVID-19 was beginning to emerge across the world. Drawing on her experiences as a front-line physician that cared for SARS patients when it arrived in Toronto she was n integral part of the leadership team that directed CHM's preparedness and response to the current pandemic. While her tenure as Interim Chief of Staff completed in September, she continues to actively lead hospital and regional efforts to keep our community safe.
