Ximena Vivas

She is an economist from the University of Rosario, EXMBA from IE Business School, a Ph.D candidate from the Complutense University of Madrid and has specializations at Harvard, World Bank, United Nations, MIT and Stanford d.school.

She is a founding partner of the Institute of Design Thinking and Effectia Consulting and has been managing innovation and Design Thinking projects for more than 15 years in international organizations and multinational companies, SMEs and start-ups from multiple sectors in more than 15 countries in Europe, Central America, South America. and Australia.

She began her career as an external consultant at the United Nations in the area of ​​impact evaluation, where she dedicated herself to evaluating capacity development and training programs in Latin America and Africa. She led the Personal Development section of Coca-Cola LCBUGeorgia Tech's Demand Driven Route to Market Program (2011-2014), and co-led more than 40 innovation projects. She has been an associate professor at IE Business School since 2007, and has received the Academic Excellence Award each year. She is also a visiting professor at business schools and universities in Spain, Australia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina.

She is an international speaker at summits in the retail and marketing sector, at TED Madrid and has been selected to participate in Cannes Lions 2019. She has directed the development of +100 cases in different business schools.
