Xun Zhong joined the Gabelli School of Business in September 2019 as an assistant professor of finance. She received her Ph.D. in finance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. She also holds an M.S. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and B.S. in finance and electronic engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

Professor Zhong's research interests include empirical asset pricing, capital markets, investments, and security analysts. Her research has been presented at leading finance conferences, such as the New Methods for the Cross-Section of Returns Conference, annual meetings of the Financial Management Association, and Midwest Finance Association, and has been published in Management Science.

Professor Zhong teaches the Financial Modeling course at the graduate level.
