Biography
The London School of Economics and Political Science
Yair Ginor is an equity partner and Director of Lipton Rogers Developments (LRD). Prior to LRD’s founding in early 2014 he was Development Director at Chelsfield.
Over the past decade Yair was responsible for delivering some of London’s largest and most complex development projects with a combined value of c. £5 billion, taking them from initiation and concept, through to funding, design and planning. These include Holland Green (formerly the Commonwealth Institute), now the new Design Museum; Elizabeth House, Waterloo; the regeneration of Camden Markets and Hawley Wharf; and 22 Bishopsgate (formerly the Pinnacle), the largest speculative office scheme in Europe.
Yair’s current focus is on exploring new models of housing, which combine tailored real estate solutions, services and household finance. A recent example is the formation of Amicala, a high-end assisted-living platform.
Prior to moving to the UK, Yair was a senior real estate consultant in Israel, where he was straddling commercial development and policy advisory, in addition to undertaking pro-bono work to champion community-led planning schemes with disadvantaged Arab Bedouin and urban communities.
Yair holds an Mphil in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge and a B.Arch in Architecture. He is a mentor at the ULI and at property innovation accelerator Pi-Labs; and a visiting lecturer at both the University of Cambridge’s department of Land Economy and the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
