Yu Xiaofeng is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Electronic Business Department of Nanjing University and Secretary General of Jiangsu Internet Service Society. He received Ph.D. in Computer Software and Theory from Nanjing University in 2007. The current research interests of Yu Xiaofeng focus on personalized recommendations in social commerce and e-commerce industry clusters.He has published more than 30 academic papers and has served as a member of the Program Committee of the International Academic Conference and a member of the Technical Committee.
He participated as a core member in the completion of one project from the National Key Basic Research Development Program (973 Program) and one project from the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program). He has led and completed one open project of the State Key Laboratory of Computer Software New Technology, one project of Nanjing University Liberal Arts Youth Foundation and one Youth Fund Project of Nanjing University Business School. He has complete a number of consulting projects through cooperation, including the paper industry's two-in-one integration assessment of the Ministry of Information Industry, the leather industry's two-in-one integration assessment, Jiangsu Province's mobile Internet industry development assessment, the Shanxi Telecom market development plan, E-commerce planning in urban areas such as Wuxi and Yangzhou, and the Internet + development plan of Jiangsu Yueda Group in the next decade.

In 2008, from January to May, he visited the University of Ontario Institute and Technology in Canada as a visiting professor.

He served as the Publicity Co-Chairs of the 2009 World Congress on Privacy, Security, Trust and the Management of e-Business, a member of the Technical Program Committee of the 2009 IEEE Asia-Pacific Services Computing Conference, a member of the Procedure Program Committee or reviewer for many important international academic conferences, such as the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th IEEE International Enterprise Distributed Object Computing Conference (EDOC), SCC 2008 (2008 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing), SCC 2009 and SCC2010. He is also a reviewer for several international IEEE Transactions on Services Computing,Enterprise Information Systems and Information Systems Frontiers.
