Dr Yusuf Öç worked as an instructor in marketing at Bogazici University before joining King's Business School. He has a bachelor degree in electrical and electronics engineering, a master degree in business administration and a PhD degree in marketing from Bogazici University.

Yusuf has private sector experience in international companies; he founded two start-ups and obtained seed capital for both of them. Yusuf has several years of experience in teaching marketing courses, such as digital marketing, entrepreneurship and advertising and presented his research at several international conferences. His interests encompass digital marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship and focus on exploring the effect of data and technology in enhancing marketing productivity.
