Zeba Huq

Zeba Huq is a Clinical Supervising Attorney and Lecturer in Law with Stanford Law School’s Religious Liberty Clinic. At this first and only full-time clinic of its kind, she supervises and trains law students as they learn the practice of law through the litigation of religious-liberty claims. She has over a decade of experience teaching and practicing in the area of law and religion. Zeba previously taught at New York University Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, and at Zaytuna College in Berkeley, California. Her work has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal, and other media outlets.

Zeba earned her degree in international relations and economics with honors from Brown University. She earned her J.D. with honors from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where she was an associate editor of the Cardozo Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif. She is a former law clerk to the Senior Judges of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
