Adriana Madrinan is an experienced strategy and innovation consultant with extensive business exposure and over 18 years of experience in business strategy, business models, and innovation. She has worked for global companies like Starcom Mediavest Group, Monsanto, British Petroleum, and Whirlpool. Moreover, she had the privilege of being the Regional Media Director for Mondelez, Visa, Avon, Mead Johnson, and Brown-Forman for Latin America, while working at Starcom Mediavest Group.

As an experienced consultant and coach in business innovation, Madrinan has an extensive and diverse background in designing, implementing, and measuring educational programs and workshops. She is experienced in working across large organizations and cross-functional teams at private businesses, associations, and educational institutions.

Her in-depth understanding of business models allows her to educate business owners and executives about business strategy, new approaches, and innovation so that they may prepare their organizations for the future.

Currently, Adriana is a consultant for the SBDC at FIU in business growth and innovation and is the lead trainer at the StartUP FIU Procurement incubator program.

She was the director of marketing and communications for Education First Inc., a company focused on the implementation of thinking-based education for children, supporting the CEO in the expansion and consolidation of this educational model in Latin America.

Adriana is the founder of Action for Joy, a company that empowers women to regain their lost dreams and build an action plan to make them a reality.

Adriana has a BA in Industrial Design from Pontificia Javeriana University in Colombia. She has an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and strategy and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Loyola University of Chicago.
