Alex Grasas

Àlex Grasas is a professor, agile operations consultant and founding partner at the Institute for Transformational Leadership (IfTL). He holds a M.S. and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University of Florida (USA), and a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain). He is also a Lecturer at different universities and business schools, and a member of the Logistics Subcommittee of the Col.legi d’Enginyers Industrials de Catalunya.

He has been involved in different research projects and consulting for firms in the area of Operations and Business Process Management, and has developed Business Analytics tools for the Healthcare and Retail industries mainly. He is the author of several scientific publications and has presented his work in numerous international conferences.

He has taught undergraduate, master and executive education courses in Operations Management, Process Analysis, Inventory & Supply Chain Management, among others, at various universities and business schools in Spain, Peru and the United States, and has carried out in-company training for several companies and organizations in different industries.
