Biography
Andrea Need began serving as director of SPEA’s Undergraduate Academic Affairs in 2016. She teaches in the areas of law and public affairs and law and the arts. Prior to coming to SPEA, Need was an environmental attorney with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management working with the Offices of Water Management and Air Management on regulatory development. She also practiced with the Conservation Law Center, a nonprofit law firm representing conservation groups and government. Need earned her bachelor’s in natural resources from the University of Michigan and her J.D. magna cum laude as well as her Master of Science in Environmental Science, at Indiana University.
