Biography

Bruno Carpentier is an assistant professor of Information Systems&nbsp - at ESCP Europe Paris campus. He graduated a Master in Management from the Business School of Rouen. He started his career as an independent consultant specialized in personal computer use and integration (L’Oreal, CDF Chimie, AXA,Wagon Lits, …). He also earned two research degrees (french DEA) in the fields of “quantitative methods applied to management” (1986) and “e-management” (2001). He led EAP (European School of Management) information systems department for its four campuses for ten years and conducted collaborative tools implementation and development.

Today he is responsible for all fundamental and elective courses developing student skills in Information Technology. His teaching field expertise is spreadsheet modeling. He is very much involved in our business game “The 21st Century Car Challenge”.

In addition, he is a permanent member of our department in charge of implementations of learning innovation based on Information Technologies. He is currently experiencing blended learning situations making extensive use of pedagogical paths that he entirely designed.

His present research is therefore focused on adoption of web2.0 tools by GenY.
