International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans

Carey Blakeman is a senior manager in portfolio strategy and management at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. Blakeman collaborates with the Association’s Engagement Learning & Innovation, technical, and marketing teams in the EBP, government, and forensic valuation areas to identify, validate and determine the market viability and approach of existing and new interest areas for the Association’s member learning resources. Prior to joining the AICPA in May 2015, Blakeman worked at Blackman & Sloop, CPAs, P.A. and Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP in the employee benefit plan, for profit and not-for-profit audit practices. Blakeman graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with both a bachelor of science in Accounting and master’s in Accounting. Blakeman volunteers on the NCSU MAC Advisory Council and at her church in Washington, D.C.
