Caroline Hagood is an Assistant Professor of Literature, Writing and Publishing and Director of Undergraduate Writing at St. Francis College. She also teaches in the MFA program.

She has published two books of poetry, Lunatic Speaks and Making Maxine’s Baby, one book-length essay, Ways of Looking at a Woman, and one novel, Ghosts of America. Her essays have appeared in The Kenyon Review, the Huffington Post, the Guardian, Salon, Elle, and the Economist, among others.

Her academic articles have appeared in Resources for American Literary Study, Texas Studies in Literature and Language, Pennsylvania Literary Journal, and Caribbean Literature, Language, and Culture.
