Harvard Kennedy School

Christy Jackowitz has 20 years of professional fundraising and nonprofit management experience. Starting at the University of Connecticut, she has worked with student leaders, volunteer solicitors, and board members, as well as development professionals, event planners, and public relations experts. Jackowitz has been involved in annual and capital campaigns at universities, medical centers, foundations and Jewish community organizations. She has devised training programs for faculty, volunteers, and board members to increase their understanding of fundraising principles, leadership needs, and philanthropy. She is currently the senior associate dean for development at Harvard Kennedy School. Jackowitz graduated from University of Connecticut and went to the Fundraising School at the University of Indiana. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women in Development, and Planned Giving Council of New England.
