Dr. Carusi is the Director of the Surgical Obstetrics & Abnormal Placentation Program, founded at BWH in 2008. This program focuses on antepartum, intrapartum,and postpartum, and interpregnancy care for women with anticipated complicated deliveries. The program's multidisciplinary teams focus on uterine fibroids, placenta previa and accreta, uterine anomalies, and women with a history of complicated surgery or hemorrhage.
