Summary
Edgar Meyer is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programmes at Imperial College Business School. As part of this portfolio, Edgar looks after a number of different programmes that support the development of business and management knowledge in undergraduate students across Imperial and beyond.
Edgar was previously Professorial Fellow (Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour) at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. He holds visiting professorial posts at Cotrugli Business School, Croatia, and the Southampton Business School. Edgar is an academic Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) where he also acts as a membership assessor.
Research Interests
Edgar’s research interests are in the area of teamwork and leadership. He focuses on notions of authenticity in leadership, as well as the changing dynamic of team leadership in virtual and/or mixed teams. Previous research has focused on knowledge, training, and collaboration. Edgar is area editor for Health Systems, a journal of the OR society.
