Singularity University
Elie Calhoun is a global leadership expert and social entrepreneur using technology to solve inequity in the world’s most challenging places. She is Director of Leadership Development at Singularity University’s flagship Global Solutions Program, leads the Wellness faculty and contributes to Executive Programs and SU Ventures. Elie is a frequent speaker on sustainable leadership and changemaking and has run workshops for groups on how to scale impact and build a culture of well-being.
A leader in the technology for impact space, Elie co-directs Code Innovation applying exponential technologies to scale evidence-based interventions that solve poverty. Living in 11 countries has uniquely informed Elie’s perspective on the future and she has led social business start-ups in Egypt, Tanzania, Liberia, Senegal, the United States and most recently, New Zealand. Elie holds a Bachelors of Arts from the American University in Cairo and earned a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
