Dr. Elisabeth Anna Guenther studied sociology at the University of Vienna and Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. She holds a PhD in organization studies for the TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology). She examined the influence of gender diversity within research team as part of the international consortium working in the Horizon 2020 project GEDII. Her research received several awards and addresses the nexus of gender-organization-technology from an intersectional perspective. Elisabeth Guenther taught courses at the FU Berlin, the TU Wien, the University of Salzburg and the University Klagenfurt. She is Secretary of the Gender in Management Special Interest Group of the British Academy of Management and Secretary of the Gender Studies Association Austria.
Elisabeth Anna Guenther’s current research explores how social justice can be advanced within/through digitalisiation. She examines aspects of education, learning and knowledge creation in a digitalised world. She builds on her expertise in praxeological epistemology and utilises quantitative and qualitative methods.
