Elizabeth Watkins Price joined the School of Government in 2016. Before returning to North Carolina, she served as the Public Interest Director of Career Services at the University of Iowa College of Law, practiced law for three years in Ithaca, New York, and served on the board of the Women’s Opportunity Center. Before law school, she was a teacher in the Washington, D.C., and then the Durham public schools. Watkins Price earned a BA from Sewanee: The University of the South, an MA in teaching from American University, and a JD from UNC-Chapel Hill.
