Engr. Dr. Fareed Hussain Mangi is a highly accomplished academic with an impressive background in mechanical engineering, thermal science, and energy. He holds a PhD in Thermal Science and Energy from Nantes University, France, a Masters degree in R&D in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Poitiers, France and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology , Nawanbshah, Pakistan. Additionally, Dr. Mangi has attended several international and national workshops and trainings to further enhance his knowledge and skills in the field.

With more than 19 years of experience in the academia, and industry sectors, Dr. Mangi has demonstrated outstanding leadership, teaching, and supervisory abilities. He is equally adept at administrative tasks, including working on feasibility reports, quality cell enhancement, self-assessment practices, and accreditation processes. Dr. Mangi's contributions to the field have been particularly noteworthy, having established two modern state-of-the-art laboratories of fluid mechanics and digital logic design (DLD) at Sukkur IBA University, Pakistan. Additionally, he has served as the outreach coordinator for the National Talent Hunt Program, Electrical Engineering, and Energy Systems Engineering Programs.

Dr. Mangi's research interests are centered around energy management, renewable energy systems, industrial energy systems, multifunctional heat exchangers/chemical reactors, solid waste management, waste to energy techniques, and heat and mass transfer enhancement techniques. He has co-authored around 37 journal and conference papers and has supervised numerous master's and undergraduate thesis projects.
