Research Summary

I recently published a comprehensive reference book on relations between the EU and China: ''The European Union and China, 1949-2008: Basic Documents and Commentary'' (Oxford: Hart Publishing, 2009, 1103 pp). My latest book, ''The EU, the WTO and China: Legal Pluralism and International Trade Regulation'' (Oxford: Hart Publishing, April 2010, 651 pp) aims to present a new theoretical framework for understanding the regulation of international trade. My current research projects are (a) a study of EU anti-dumping actions against China in the context of Chinese economic transformation and changes in Chinese business organisation, 1979-2010 and (b) a study of international and comparative regulation of food safety.
