Frederic M. Wilf is a leading practitioner, speaker, and author in the fields of technology, intellectual property, business, and commercial law. Since 1985, Mr. Wilf has been a trusted advisor and strategist for businesses of all sizes, from one-person start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. He is the managing partner in Wilftek LLC, a boutique technology, intellectual property and business law firm (https://wilftek.com/).

Mr. Wilf represents companies developing and using a vast array of software and hardware technologies, from the large-scale enterprise class of mainframe computers to smart phones, tablets, wearable computers, embedded computers, and other computing devices. Verticals include banking and finance, healthcare (including healthcare insurance and pharmaceuticals), wholesale and retail sales, warehousing and distribution of hard goods, utilities, cable television, books, audio/visual (including music) and games. Mr. Wilf represents charities and non-profit organizations for licensing, intellectual property, and organizational issues, including several that he represents on a pro bono publico basis.

Mr. Wilf is the co-author of a four-volume legal treatise entitled, “Computer Software.” In addition to this treatise, Mr. Wilf speaks and writes extensively on topics involving technology and the law, including a continuing legal education seminar on Internet law he founded and has chaired annually since 1997, and seminars on cloud computing and ecommerce. He taught a course on cyberlaw as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey. Mr. Wilf is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He also serves as an arbitrator of technology and intellectual property disputes, including royalty disputes and disputes over general business and commercial agreements.
