Frederica A. Peterson is a certified professional Executive and Life Coach, Best Selling Author, Adjunct Professor and Radio and TV Host of "Shifting the Atmosphere with Frederica." She is also the CEO and Founder of her consulting practice Unique Insights Coaching.
Prior to founding her practice, Frederica, spent over 20 years as a key leader in the Telecom and Financial Services industries.
Frederica has a passion and talent for helping people discover their true potential and removing the things that get in the way of living their best life! She enjoys journeying with her clients as they experience the "process" of self discovery.
"It was through my own transformation that I realized my true passion and how necessary it is to become reacquainted with who you really are and not live by the labels placed on us over time, by ourselves and others, to be considered successful and accepted. Living in that authentic space is where we find our true potential and definition of success which is as unique as the seasons of life."
Frederica is a Master Practitioner of the Leadership Development Index and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. She is a 2015 NJ Assembly Resolution Honoree for International Coaching Week, for her contributions to the coaching field for the past 20 years. She is also a member of the Executive Advisory Committee for the Association of Talent Development for Northern New Jersey and is a volunteer facilitator for Dress for Success' Going Places Network program.
She holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a certification in Image Consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Frederica is now an Adjunct Professor for Fairleigh Dickinson University's Master's program for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Frederica enjoys being involved with her church which she has been a member for almost 20 years. She is also an avid reader and member of the Northern NJ chapter of Sister's Sipping Tea Book Club. She enjoys traveling throughout the US and abroad and has a particular fondness for destinations and activities by the sea. She enjoys working out with her personal trainer, taking hot yoga classes, playing tennis, biking and swimming.
