Harvard Medical School

Dr. Baslet completed medical school in Buenos Aires, Argentina and his training in psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in neuropsychiatry and behavioral Neurology by the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties. Dr. Baslet leads the division of neuropsychiatry and a clinical-research program on functional neurological disorders at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and has conducted research on treatments to address functional seizures. He is actively involved in national and international professional organizations to improve understanding and develop treatments for neuropsychiatric conditions. He is also interested in the integration of neuroscience into medical education and is the director of medical student education at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
