IESE Business School

Juan Mons is a lecturer of Financial Management at IESE, where he has been teaching since 1985. Professor Mons has a degree in Industrial Engineering from ETSII in Barcelona, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an MBA from ESADE and a PDG from IESE.

He has extensive practical experience with government responsibilities and the management and promotion of family-owned businesses, and also sits on several boards of directors.

His areas of interest include company finance, mainly growth strategies (investment) and finance (capital and debt); strategic reflection processes, change, internationalization and starting up companies; and the professionalization of family-owned businesses, and good governance and operation of their boards of directors.
