Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management

A highly experienced senior public affairs professional with a wide-ranging experience in the financial services industry. Judith has led several multinational teams and has a strong lobbying track record. She specialises in the strategic positioning of institutions and industries in complex international environments. She is a frequent speaker and moderator at international conferences. Judith has a deep understanding of EU institutions and processes, stock and derivatives exchanges, banking regulation, housing finance and covered bonds.

Judith has held several senior management positions including managing director of the Swiss Finance Council, CEO of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges and secretary general of the European Mortgage Federation and the European Covered Bond Council. She was the Vice-Chair of the ESMA Securities Markets Stakeholder Group for two consecutive mandates as well as the Chair of the European Parliament Financial Services Group.

Judith was named ‘Lobbyist of the Year’ by EUROMONEY’s Compliance Reporter for her contribution to the adoption of the European Code of Conduct on Clearing and Settlement. She featured on the list of the '100 Most Influential Women in Finance' from 2011 to 2013 (Financial News). She was also nominated for the ‘Decade of Excellence Award' for her work at FESE (Financial News).

She is a lecturer at the SOLVAY BUSINESS SCHOOL teaching ‘Market Infrastructures’ for the Advanced Master in Financial Markets.

She is an Internationally Certified Coach.
