Marc Kahn

Marc Kahn is Global Head of Human Resources & Organisation Development at Investec Plc, and more recently Visiting Professor of People, Organisation and Strategy at Middlesex University.

He is a Chartered Business Coach and psychologist, and the author of Coaching on the Axis: Working with Complexity in Business and Executive Coaching (2014). London: Routledge.

Marc leads and teaches with a fundamental message: An extraordinary culture, more-so than any special individual, creates the most valuable outcomes in organisational life.

Marc has been with Investec since 2008. Prior to that he was managing director of a management consultancy which specialized in large-scale learning and development solutions, competency-based assessments, and coaching programmes in both the private and public sectors.

Marc began his career in 1997 as a clinical psychologist in private practice, where he focused on adult psychotherapy as well as psycho-legal assessments, for which he regularly gave evidence as an expert witness in the High Court.

Marc is a founding member and was the first Chair of Ethics for COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa), he also sat on the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches’ first international certification panel in 2005 & 2006, and was vice-chairman of the South African Institute for Psychotherapy from 2002 - 2005.

Marc speaks regularly at conferences and events on organisational success, leadership and culture, people strategy, innovation and learning in the twenty first century.
